As part of a group project, I worked on a 3-stage gear transmission system that was tasked with lifting and lowering a 2kg weight whilst minimizing the weight of the entire system. I primarily contributed through designing some of the parts using CAD and setting up and running the finite element analysis simulations to optimize part design
